Services and Fees

I want to extend a bit of gratitude:

Thank you for taking time to review my services. I truly believe that every birth is unique and every birth happens how it is supposed to happen. Same goes for finding the right support. You will know by the feelings within you if you have found the right Doula for your birth. It may be me, it may not. We have a wonderful community of birth professionals within the Valley Area. Know that we are here to serve you.

Who you invite into your birth experience is just as important as what diapers your baby will be wearing or whether you choose to breastfeed or formula feed. One of the reasons its so important is you need to feel supported, heard and loved through this process of bringing life into this world.

My intention is just what my byline says:

Gentle Guidance for Your Best Birth

We will work together to create a great environment for your baby to be born. There are many options in regards to places (home, birth center or hospital)as well as options for birth. My desire is to give you the big picture and to eliminate any fear or concern you might have, so you can be confident in yourself and your body. We also must understand that although we have a plan for birth...situations arise that are unexpected. It is my belief that everything happens for a reason, and however your baby chooses to be born is the best for you and baby.

When I started this process I began my certification through DONA. After completing the certification process, I decided to not turn in my packet and become a DONA Doula for various reasons. Feel free to visit my doula match profile I do believe certification is important, my choice of organization was based on limited information, after being in this industry for 3 years I have found multiple organizations I do align with--and will be choosing one of those organizations to work through certification with.

If financial hardship is preventing you from seeking the support you would like to have, please feel free to contact me. We can create a payment plan or create some sort of arrangement that creates a win-win situation.

Although many women wait till the last trimester to find and hire a Doula, finding your Doula as early as possible allows you to ask questions and receive support throughout your pregnancy. I believe it will help you feel more prepared and empowered as well. Having a Doula as a resource will assist you in making the best decisions throughout your pregnancy and during your labor. As our name implies: Doula, means 'servant' we are here for you!

Light and Love,
